Youngnam Culture Institute publishes The Journal of youngnam Studies which is a Korea Citation Index (KCI) journal of National Research Foundation of Korea. The Journal of youngnam Studies aims to open up mutual understanding worldwide for the future, through Youngnam area as a window for globalization and to establish the identity of Youngnam, by converging on in-depth discussions on the thoughts and culture of Youngnam area.
The Journal of youngnam Studies has published Vol. 31 up to the year 2016, since 2001 and around 300 esteemed papers have been published so far. It includes comprehensively the areas of Youngnam related Korean Studies, such as language, literature, history, philosophy, society, economy and art, containing the essence of intellectual endeavor for the identity of Korean Studies based on Youngnam Study which is able to satisfy the new era.
